Altra wasn’t started in some corporate office, but in the back room of a Wasatch Mountain running store. Their founders, —elite athletes and running store managers, —wanted a shoe that let you run the way you were born to. They noticed that the design of most running shoes was hurting runners more than helping them. Elevated heels promote high-impact landing and narrow toe boxes squeeze the toes out of their natural position.
What began as experimental shoe alterations has transformed into the only shoe company to provide a cushioned Zero Drop™ platform and FootShape™ toe box. This innovative combo promotes low-impact technique and allows your feet to remain in a natural, relaxed position across every terrain.

Physical Learning & Health (PLH), LLC was founded in October 2015, and later rebranded as Yanok PT in 2017. The mission is to treat clients in a setting that allows for true one-on-one care at the convenience of the location of the client’s choice. With large health insurance deductibles, rising co-pays, and shrinking coverage and reimbursement from insurance companies for rehabilitation services, many physical therapy clinics are forced to reduce one-on-one patient care time. However, by removing insurance companies from the equation, Yanok PT isn’t limited by restricted insurance coverage and doesn’t need the support staff to haggle with the paperwork and insurance providers. Also, by having thorough, truly one-on-one treatments, in many cases the client can experience improvement with less visits.
